Foods To Avoid – Get Heartburn Symptoms Relief

By Mikael G.J.

The good news is that there are many natural cures for heartburn. You will not have to spend a lot of money on medications that do not work. There is no need to suffer with an uncomfortable condition if you can find a natural way to cure it. Many people suffer from heartburn without knowing that they could have cured it with natural methods.

Heartburn is most common especially during pregnancy. Some people only get heartburn during meals, but may also wake up several times while they’re sleeping because they experienced heartburn. Some people can experience heartburn symptoms after eating certain foods or drinking certain liquids. Heartburn symptoms are different from heartburn itself, such as pain in the chest, difficulty swallowing, and headache when heartburn symptoms appear. Most of the time, these symptoms are due to acid reflux or acid coming back into the esophagus instead of coming out of the mouth.

There are a lot of different things that can cause heartburn symptoms. For example, certain types of foods can irritate your stomach and cause heartburn, spicy foods like chili, or tomato based products like sauce can be potent ingredients that will trigger heartburn. However, if you have heartburn symptoms frequently and it is accompanied by severe pain in your chest, then it may be a symptom of a heart attack. Chest pain is one of the symptoms of a heart attack and can be felt as a dull ache. It can be difficult to determine if you have chest pain caused by heartburn or not.

Other heartburn symptoms are feeling as though a tightness in the chest or abdomen has developed and there is a burning sensation. If the heartburn symptoms are located around the belly, then they could also be the effects of food poisoning or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) which can both result in burning sensations in the abdomen. The symptoms of GERD can be very similar to heartburn symptoms but are often less severe. Heartburn can also affect people who have weak immune systems, such as babies and children. In addition, it can strike people after certain types of surgery, including a stomach or upper torso incision.

Once thought to be the result of poor eating habits, heartburn symptoms can actually be the result of an underlying condition. For example, if left untreated esophageal cancer can develop in the esophagus. Treatment for esophageal cancer involves removal of the entire area affected by the cancerous growth from the esophagus. This treatment is very dangerous as the risk of developing esophageal cancer while undergoing this procedure is very high. If the doctor thinks that the heartburn symptoms may be caused by the cancer, then the doctor will perform a procedure called a biopsy.

Unfortunately, the treatments available for heartburn often do not cure the condition. For example, many of the over-the-counter medications such as antacids only relieve heartburn symptoms but do not treat the underlying condition. In addition, even medications used to treat heartburn will only relieve the symptoms, not deal with the problem of heartburn itself. That is why the number one way to get heartburn cured is to eat healthy foods and make sure to avoid the foods that trigger heartburn in the first place. Eating healthier can reduce the frequency and severity of heartburn attacks.
