Gluten Free Menu Items At Taco Bell

By Mika

Does Taco Bell have gluten-free Options? The short answer is yes. It’s also a great way to prove how concerned the company really is for your health.

More than anything else, people love this food because of its taste. First and foremost, Taco Bell makes the food absolutely delicious. And guess what? They use very low-fat ingredients. In fact, one quarter of every taco that you can find at their restaurants uses trans fat. Now, most fast food chains use hydrogenated oils to make their tortillas, which adds even more fat to the already-rich taco meat.

Another reason people love their food from Taco Bell is because they’re also starting to incorporate more whole grains and vegetables into their diets. Instead of just having a giant taco, now you can also get a side of black beans and some Guacamole for an extra kick. And if you don’t like the heavy sauces that many fast food chains serve, you can always go with a milder version like Guacamole.

As far as nachos are concerned, they’re nothing more than a standard beef or chicken nacho, but Taco Bell has made them just a little bit healthier. Their black beans contain only 10 calories per serving, and they come wrapped in a nice tortilla shell. If you’re worried about adding too much grease to your diet, worry not. The Guacamole that comes with the tacos actually contains zero calories, so you can be sure to stay on the diet. And if you eat any black beans, you can always use them to make your own Guacamole.

As far as chicken goes, it’s still just part of the chicken wing category. Tacos along with the regular beef, pork, and chicken pieces can be ordered along with your favorite sauce and served on your own taco bowl. If you get tired of eating them plain, you could spice things up by ordering a delicious Mexican taco salad. It contains fresh vegetables, which are also a part of the gluten-free menu, along with tomatoes, radishes, and cilantro. And since everything is served on a corn tortilla, you’re guaranteed to be staying on the diet!

With all of these choices, you’re bound to find something that fits your taste buds. Many people even enjoy the breakfast menu items that are offered at Taco Bell. They offer a variety of waffles, pancakes, wafers, and other traditional favorites that you probably associate with your favorite places. The company isn’t just trying to please everyone, though. The gluten-free menu items are also tasty and satisfying, and help consumers feel comfortable knowing they are eating foods that will not cause them any harm.
